This innovative pedal represents a joint effort that combines their unique approaches to sonic exploration, providing a mind-bending auditory experience.
With the switch to the left, the Time Shadows’ controls are entirely the work of EarthQuaker Devices’ resident genius, Jamie Stillman. Flip the switch to the right, and you delve into the chaotic genius of Oliver Ackermann from Death By Audio. Position the switch in the middle, and you enter a new dimension of pitch-warping delays, a result of a telepathic collaboration with a fifth-dimensional entity.

EarthQuaker Devices Mode: Transforms input into a jazz space bazooka sound with pitch-morphed fuzz delay and an intimidating attitude. The signal undergoes digital distortion, polyphonic sub-octave blending, delay processing, and a resonant envelope-controlled lowpass filter.
Death By Audio Mode: Creates a multi-delay filter effect, producing sounds from icy shimmers to cosmic space caves with bouncing repeats.
Middle Mode: An energy beam effect, merging earthly transmissions with heavenly echoes and deep hellish dives.
Additionally, the pedal includes a user-assignable expression jack and six preset slots for saving and recalling favorite settings.
