Dreadbox Treminator Analogue Tremolo Pedal Overview
The Dreadbox Treminator is an analog tremolo pedal designed to deliver a versatile and expressive tremolo effect. Drawing inspiration from synthesizers, it employs a VCA (voltage-controlled amplifier) circuit to shape the tremolo sound.
The highlight of the Treminator is its wide-ranging LFO (low-frequency oscillator), which offers an extensive frequency range from 20 seconds to 220Hz, extending well into the audio range. This allows for precise control over the tremolo speed and depth. To further shape the LFO’s characteristics, the pedal provides two envelope generators that enable you to modify the curve of the LFO waveform.
Additionally, the Treminator offers a three-position toggle switch that allows you to choose from different subdivisions for the tap tempo function. This feature adds rhythmic versatility to your tremolo effects.
For seamless integration into modular setups or CV-enabled synthesizers, the Treminator provides three CV patch points. These connections enable you to synchronize and modulate the tremolo effect with other modular equipment, expanding the sonic possibilities of your rig.
