All of Boss’s Guitar Combos in one place.
When you think of a Guitar Amp, the first thing most people picture is a Guitar Combo.
A Guitar Combo is essentially a Pre-Amp, a Power-Amp and a Speaker contained in one box. The benefit is that a guitar combo amp is plug-and-play and easily transportable.
If you are a guitar player that needs a one-stop solution to practising, recording and live performances, the Guitar Combo is a hard option to beat. They’re more compact and less hassle to set up than a Guitar Stack, plus your tone will always be consistent.
The Ranges:
Nextone Combo Series | Katana Combo Series
Both ranges of Guitar Combo come with a 2-year warranty.
Why a Boss Guitar Combo?
Boss have been making effects for over 40 years and have become a giant in the Guitar World - but their influence hasn’t stopped there.
Since the release of the Katana Series, they have taken over the Guitar Combo market, with amps that sound great, are easy to use and have the incredible reliability that all Boss products are renowned for.
Packed with features for any musical application, Boss has made their combo amps with the most versatile guitarists in mind. Whether you play Rock, Metal, Jazz, Pop, Country or any other type of guitar music, a Boss Combo has you covered.
Quality of Sound
Whichever series of Boss Combo Amp you opt for, an exceptional tone is guaranteed.
Boss changed the capabilities of the transistor amp forever with the release of the Waza Craft Head & Cabinet. The groundbreaking advancements in modelling technology it provided were then used to inspire all their amps that came after.
Boss modelled the entire signal path of a traditional valve amp. Each finite detail and characteristic has been meticulously tuned to respond and feel just like a valve amp. Everything from the jack input, the pre-amp, the power amp and the speaker cone has all been modelled, making the tone incredibly authentic/dynamic.
if you are more of a traditional guitarist, lusting after that boutique amp tone, Nextone is for you. If you need a versatile, affordable and easy to use option, the Katana has you covered.
Ease of use
With an illustrious list of the biggest musicians in the world on their roster, Boss is working with the very best in the business. By working alongside their artist, Boss has been able to hone in the user experience of their products for almost any application.
Whether you’re a bedroom guitar player, DIY musician or elite session player, each amplifier series has an easily recognisable panel that’s painless to operate. You can manipulate the various different parameters in real-time via the onboard dials, without menu diving.
If you are someone that likes to tinker, Boss has made each amplifier range compatible with Boss Tone Studio. BTS is free software that allows you to edit the most detailed settings of your Amp, compatible with PC or Mac.
Reliability
When thinking of Boss, you immediately imagine the Boss Compact Pedal. There are numerous videos out there showcasing just how robust these units are, and their amps are no different.
With both the Nextone or Katana series, you can gig with the confidence your amp won’t cut out midperformance and will survive being chucked in and out of a van, whatever the season.
