Apogee

Founded in 1985, Apogee has grown over time to become one of the biggest players in the digital audio hardware stratosphere. Apogee originally made their name by developing cutting-edge filters that were being utilised to solve technical problems related to early digital audio software and they were the first company to bring professional digital audio recording quality to Pro Tools and Apple Products. The much more affordable 924 & 944 filters made Sony and Mitsubishi's products almost obsolete.

During the 90's Apogee continued their assault on Digital Audio recording, releasing a host of firsts. The first standalone A/D D/A converters, the first multi-channel 24-bit audio interface as well as a host of products linked to the industry standard Pro Tools recording software.

To this day Apogee continues to innovate and we stock a great selection of Apogee Microphones, Audio Interfaces and Outboard gear. These include; the impressive Duet Audio Interface, the MiC Plus USB microphone and the high-end Ensemble Thunderbolt interface.
