The Fender Select Telecaster in Koa is a masterfully crafted guitar that seamlessly blends premium materials with exceptional playability and timeless Telecaster tone.
Its flame maple neck is finished in a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, offering a smooth and durable feel. Designed with a modern "C" neck shape, the guitar provides effortless comfort and playability, complemented by a 9.5" to 14" compound radius rosewood fingerboard for a perfect balance of traditional feel and modern performance.
The fingerboard features white pearloid dot inlays and 22 frets, with a Bi-Flex truss rod ensuring reliable neck stability. The synthetic bone nut is precision cut to a width of 1.685" (42.8 mm), offering consistent string spacing and resonance.
At its core, the guitar features an empress wood body with a carved koa top, delivering a lightweight and resonant tonal foundation. Finished in gloss lacquer, the body showcases the natural beauty of the wood while providing a high-quality sheen. The electronics consist of a Fender Select single-coil Tele pickup in both the neck and bridge positions. These pickups deliver the classic Tele twang with a modern edge, enhanced by a no-load tone control for greater tonal versatility.
A three-position blade switch allows for selecting the bridge pickup, both pickups, or the neck pickup. The six-saddle American Standard strings-through-body Tele bridge features bent steel saddles and a stamped brass plate, enhancing sustain and tuning stability.
The hardware is finished in nickel/chrome, and the guitar is equipped with deluxe staggered cast/sealed locking tuning machines for precise and secure tuning. Knurled flat-top control knobs complete the guitar's stylish and functional design.
