Nord Piano 5 88 Stage Piano Overview
Nord’s Piano 5 is a reinvigorated and upgraded rendition of their immensely popular Piano 4, boasting a more powerful sound engine and host of brand new features. The result is easily the Swedish company’s best stage piano so far, combining an authentic Grand Piano feel with professional-quality sound, a tactile interface and true customisability.
Authentic Playing Experience
Equipped with 88-keys, this version of the Piano 5 is essential for players that demand the expressive range of a full-size piano and/or gravitate towards classical styles. Another advantage of the 88-key iteration is that it makes the most of the Piano 5’s powerful Layer & Split capabilties, giving more keys to use with each section.
Whilst the 88-key model is the largest in Nord’s Piano 5 series, its weight is still manageable and transportable considering the wealth of features and the astounding quality of the keybed. Plus, its a bit more compact than its predecessor. If you require a slightly lighter and smaller solution, take a look at its 73-key counterpart.
The 88-key version of Nord’s Piano 5 boasts a remarkably authentic feel that the most discerning of concert pianists will find a joy to play. Featuring Nord’s cutting edge Virtual Hammer Action Technology, a Triple Sensor keybed and lovely grand weighted action. Used alongside the stunningly detailed onboard sounds, the Piano 5 boasts a truly dynamic and nuanced playing experience that’s hard to beat.
Nord have knocked it out of the park with the Piano 5, retaining the standout qualities of the Piano 4 whilst giving it twice the capabilities. Make no mistake, this is a top-of-the-line stage piano that is worth every penny. If you’re in the market for a professional-quality & high-performance instrument that consistently delivers an incredible sound, is intuitive to use & feels great to play - the Piano 5 is an excellent choice.
