Inspired by the legendary Chet Atkins, the '59 Country Gentleman delivers the iconic sound, style, and features that made the original famous. This guitar offers responsive and articulate sound with TV Jones pickups: a Super’Tron Classic Plus at the bridge and a Super’Tron at the neck. The modified control layout includes individual bridge pickup volume, master volume, and tone controls, offering versatile tonal options. Gretsch “Squeezebox” capacitors add silky vintage high end.

The “U”-shaped maple neck with a 1.75" nut and a 12"-radius ebony fingerboard with 22 vintage-style frets is perfect for fast playing. A pinned rocking bar bridge and Bigsby B6GWVT vibrato tailpiece ensure stable tuning, while a vintage-style bone nut allows smooth string movement.

Classic features include a laminated 5-ply figured maple top with painted F-holes, gold G-arrow knobs, aged white binding with black purfling, gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, aged pearloid thumbnail inlays, gold plexi pickguard with Gretsch logo, and gold Grover Imperial tuners with ‘butterbean’ buttons.
