Fender American Standard Stratocaster 2007, Sienna Sunburst, Second-Hand Overview
A super versatile workhorse guitar!
The Fender American Standard Stratocaster needs no introduction. It has been a workhorse guitar since its first announcement in 1986. The HSS variant is designed for players looking for more power and tonal options.
This model is often referred to as the "hot rod" of the American Standard series due to its upgraded pickup configuration, featuring Tex-Mex single-coils in the neck and middle positions for a classic Strat sound, and a Fender Diamondback humbucker in the bridge position for increased output and warmth.
Fender has also added several modern enhancements to this model, including a new bridge design, and updated neck and body finishes that improve both playability and aesthetics. The hand-rolled fretboard edges provide added comfort, and the staggered tuning machines ensure improved tuning stability and better sustain.
The control layout includes a master volume, two tone knobs (one for the neck and middle pickups, and one for the bridge pickup and a 5-position blade switch.
This example comes fully set up with D'Addario 9-42, includes its original moulded hard case and weighs 8.10lbs
