The Epiphone Deluxe Classic Masterbilt Century is a vintage-inspired archtop acoustic guitar that delivers both traditional looks and modern amplification. Featuring a laminated flame maple body and solid spruce top with longitudinal bracing, it produces a rich, full tone, further enhanced by its large body profile and classic "f" sound holes. Its modern eSonic HD pre-amp system and Shadow NanoFlex under-saddle pickup capture the natural acoustic sound, allowing players to hear their instrument amplified exactly as it sounds unplugged.
The system is powered by a 9-volt battery and includes Master Volume and Master EQ controls for fine-tuning the amplified sound. The guitar’s floating adjustable Ebonoid bridge, historic Epiphone trapeze tailpiece, and aged gloss vintage natural finish contribute to its classic aesthetic. A 5-piece laminated maple/mahogany neck with a rounded 'C' shape and dual-action truss rod provides stability and playability, while the Ebony fretboard with pearloid "Notched Diamond" inlays adds to its vintage charm.
The Epiphone Reissue Tuners with Marboloid buttons and a bone nut ensure precise tuning. Additional features include 20 medium frets, a 1.69" nut width, 25.5" scale length, and a removable tortoise-style pickguard.
